Good place to walk and take in the scenery. There are also food and drinks to be sold at this location. Go on weekdays to get better pics with no one in the background. One issue is that I don't see any designated area for smoking so the smoke can and will travel to where you eat and there is no enforcement on the smoking ban at eateries which puts me off.

Took the cable car to the temple on the way down from Genting to temple to GPO. The stop is free and the same ticket can be used to continue your ride down to GPO. The walk from the station to the temple is quite long but there are escalators throughout the whole walk. The walk is about 10-15 mins. No entrance fee is needed to enter the temple but you can donate in those donation boxes. Plenty of eateries (meat free and with meat) in the temple compound. Estimated time spent here in the temple is about 1.5 hours if you look around leisurely.

I truly enjoyed my time here. The view was incredible and the ambience was serene.When you are in Genting, it's worth coming here and embarking on a cultural journey through a visual depiction of the afterlife or simply enjoying the marvellous mountainous landscape from the temple.There's a huge Buddha statue that you shouldn't miss and I think it's worth taking the time to read the stories and look at everything.

There is a beautiful Chinese temple. You can explore a lot of things there. One is the tower which is actually some nine Elias up. There is nothing to be seen inside, but you can have a beautiful view of outside surroundings from that kind of elevation. The higher stairs you go, the cooler you will experience.They also provided free transportation from the cable car station to the temple and back and there is free of charge.It's a must visit place if you’re taking the cable car going to/back from the Genting Highlands.Although the temple is doing renovation now, the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and clouds are never disappointing.Overall, Chin Swee Caves Temple offers a reflective and refreshing visit, showcasing both religious devotion and natural beauty.

Definitely a highly recommended place to visit if you’re on the way up to Genting resort. The temple is very spacious, huge, coped with beautiful windy weather.Can spend easily at least an hour there if you walk around the entire place…lots of photo opportunities within the temple too.

We parked at the bottom where there is a small prayer hall and at first glance we thought that is it, but then we went up to the main complex and it is really stunning. Nice cool air and very wide open space with a lot of architecture, statues, small caves and walkways to explore. Great for taking photos and not too crowded or tourist-trap feel. A place that can drop by along the way to top or go down, feel chilling and peace, and there is cable car station connected to this temple also, got vegetarian restaurant and other snack food stall. There are some buddhist statue which is accessible by walking toward the little hill here.

Spiritual yet tourist attraction. The place located jn Genting Highland and require us to take cable car or driving to there. This temple has a great and beautiful scenery for our eyes. In this place not only looking around, you can pray also there. So lucky when i’m there the temple is open up so we can go and pray 🙏

This temple is actually so high that it could be considered as a temple in clouds.The temple is ideal to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Genting peninsula.Please carry an umbrella to save from sudden rains and sun in case of sunny days.The temperature gets cold and a light sweater might be needed.There are some shops that sell snacks and munchies including fried chick, dumplings, ice cream and more.

Great place with great view. There are a lot of hotels nearby. There are some food stalls available in the area. The most exciting view is the pagoda and 10 caves depicting 10 levels of hell in buddhist, and a 15m tall buddha statue. Overall, a very nice place to visit.

From the cable car station, it's around nine floors down but don't worry, escalators are available the entire way down and up. Chinese temple in Genting Highland. The temple located at 4.600 feet above sea level. You need to take cable car from Genting and take 5-10 minutes to the peak of mountain. This temple has a great mountain view. You will also find the temple's pagoda, giant Buddha statue, etc.

A beautiful place to visit with nice landscaped gardens, temples and Buddhist statues. It’s a nice cable car ride, however on the day we went the lifts weren’t working so we had to walk down (approx 10-15 mins) and the wait for the van ride back was approx 20-30 mins. Not many food options there. Probably can see everything in 20 minutes (including taking photos).

The buildings themselves are so beautiful and the best part is this is all free to visit.There is one absolutely crazy section that depicts all the layers of hell through pretty graphic statues. This section of the temple might not be the best place to take the children.However it is a great read and I am so happy it is translated into English as well. Really tells an incredible story and how the Buddhist religion depicts hellThere is so much more to visit here however and I would absolutely recommend taking your time and seeing it all. They have done a remarkable job on this temple and it is just so clean and tidy.

One of the must-watch places on the way to Genting Highlands is a very beautiful, calm, and quiet temple nestled in the mountains.This can be easily accessed by using the Awana Skyway cable car to Genting Highlands. There is a cable car stop station on the way called "Chin Swee Station." You need to disembark from the cable car there. Cable cars always stop there for passengers to disembark and board. However, most travelers do not visit Chin Swee Cable Temple because they are unaware that the cable car stops at Chin Swee Station for them to visit there.After disembarking from the cable car, you have to walk downward again to reach the cave temple. But it is not an issue as there are escalators, 9 in number as I remember. So, no tiredness at all.You will be fascinated by the beauty of this place, especially if there is a mild mist. You can enjoy a great view and take nice photos.

Really enjoyed my visit here. A tip is to go EARLY in the morning, our coach reached genting around 6 so we got to the temple around 7. Sadly due to the clouds there was no sunrise but the temple was super empty so we could wander in peace.

There is one bell where you can ring for getting your wishes.There is a way from which you can go up. Seeing a lot of small small caves were a lot of things has been given there. Unfortunately, we didn’t had much time to get inside and the details. Very good place to visit.If you are taking the cable, Car, then you can get down at this station. Free of cost. They will give free transportation from the station to the temple and back .Should not miss this location. If you’re taking the cable car going to the Genting Highlands. Preferably, you should get down once you are going into the jenny Highland itself.

I loved everything about this place. The tall Buddha and Ma Kuan Yi are there. There is a path symbolizing the journey to heaven, and there are also 10 chambers representing hell. You can take a slow walk, read about each chamber's punishment, and learn about the culture and the religion. This place is pet-friendly, but please ensure your pet is on a leash as there are multiple people and visitors around. Please wear proper attire as a sign of respect.

It was a scenic ride to the temple via the Awana SkyWay gondola. Got off at the Chin Swee station at no extra cost and take the escalators to the temple grounds.Several shops selling food and drinks. There was even a vegetarian restaurant and Starbucks which you can admire the Buddha statue from the floor to the ceiling glass window.

This place is very beautiful and one of the view points. The open sky on top of a hill no matter what the weather the clouds can be seen from here and this place is cold because it is on top of a hill which causes a cold breeze and it is very relaxing. And from this side if the weather is very good then the entire Kuala Lumpur city can be seen.

Good experience to explore this place. Easy to reach via cable car or car. It has 2 entrances. 1st entrance at lower hill has narrow and covered parking. You could take a lift to reach higher levels. 2nd entrance at higher hill, the main touring spot with food stalls around. Outdoor roadside parking.The statues are mostly not maintained, but it is still worth walking around and chill out here.

When you get here in the early morning on weekdays, for a tourists this is a perfect time. Not so much people, can feel a cool morning breeze and still get a sunlight. Perfect light when you go in the morning, because the sunlight so perfect for take a photo. You get a perfect spot to look at a landscape. Nice place to chill and take a break from a fast moving city.

It is such a peaceful place surrounded by the forest and the misty clouds. There are lots of Chinese sculptures with inscriptions carved,very well maintained. The statue of Buddha surrounded by lush greenery is such a sight to the eyes. The caves, fountains, all are really nice. The place gets fully covered in mist during evening. There are escalators that gets to the place from skyway station

Regrettably, my timing was off as the primary gondola that usually passes by this temple was out of service for maintenance, prompting me to hail a Grab ride in order to reach the destination. Despite the inconvenience, the site itself is truly stunning, offering a mesmerizing view that makes the journey worthwhile.

If you have a cable car ticket, this is a side trip you can avail for free. They have a free shuttle going to and from the temple but it takes a bit of time. I went on a monday and the queue going took around 20mins. But if you are in a hurry, theres taxi drivers around who are willing to drive you up for a fixed price.But since im solo, I opt to wait for the free shuttle ride and I would say it was definitely worth it! Theres no need to pay anything to enter the place. The place is stunning with the temple, the huge buddha, and the fog! Theres quite a handful of things to learn and see about Buddhism here which is pretty interesting especially the circles of hell but I wasn't able to see all of it because it was a climb up 🥲 Theres even a traditional costume rental for photoshoots. I can spend an hour here if I want to just by exploring around but I was in a bit of a time crunch and had to go back. A lot of food and drink stalls around the area. Highly recommend to stop over here and be mesmerized by the wonder!
