Pursuant to Senate Rules of Procedure Rule 6.4 Subsection A, the Internal Affairs committee “shall be responsible for maintaining a list of suggested general and positions specific interview questions to be asked during the confirmation process. The Vice-Chair shall ensure that this list of interview questions is made available on the SGA website.” Note: any candidate up for confirmation can be subject to any questions listed on this page, regardless of position, or any further questions the Senate finds pertinent.

Legislative Branch

Senators (Rules & Calendar Committee)*

  • What is a problem that you have seen on campus and want to fix?
  • What are the 5 standing committees within the Senate and what are their functions?
  • What led you to become interested in becoming a student Senator?
  • Will you be able to fully commit to your position as Senator?
  • What is the purpose of the SGA Senate?
  • What are some ideas you have to better facilitate communication with your constituents?
  • How will you improve the FSU experience for your constituents?
